Daisy Mae

Just because I know you love my daisies, I'm sharing another daisy card with you today. This one I made at the retreat I went on a few weeks ago. No instructions necessary. It is soooo self explanatory, no details required.

By the way, thanks for all the supportive comments yesterday about my late sleeper! He ended up waking up at 7a, right at the time his early bird class started! He waltzed downstairs, jumped in the shower and started lolly-gagging under the warm spray. I'm like,"YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LUXURY OF A LEISURELY SHOWER THIS MORNING YOUNG MAN....GET YOUR BUTT MOVING!!!" I mean seriously, you're late and you think you can stroll through the morning at a snail's pace? He innocently claimed he didn't remember the alarm going off...yeah, right, and I'm a dead ringer for Charlize Theron. Get real rugrat. When will these kids realize we weren't born yesterday???

This morning I'm happy to report he was up on time and ready to go at the appropriate hour.
Lucky for him I can feed him again tonight;).

Hugs,
Amy

  1. Darling card, Amy! I love the fun colors. Hubby is just like your son... gets up already late and then takes a leisurely shower. Drives me CRAZY! I guess he figures he's already late, might as well make it worth his while! LOL

I had to laugh when I read your post yesterday. When I started 5th grade my Mom bought me an alarm clock, made sure there were plenty of lunch "fixin's" and said "I am not getting you up and fixing your lunch anymore, it's your job." Wow - I thought I had been abandoned but, you know, it was the biggest favor my Mom could do for me at that age. Just made me responsible quickly. This was all complicated by the fact that I am severely hard of hearing. Just made me figure out what volume I needed and how to "make" myself wake up. Thanks, Mom!
