With All My Heart

First of all, regarding yesterday's post. Thanks to all the kind people that cheered with up with sweet comments about how if YOU had a design team, you'd have me on the team! I was not fishing for comments like that when I decided to write the post. Believe me. I wasn't despondent when I wrote it, I wasn't thinking to myself "what a big loser you are, Amy".....I WAS, admittedly, having a slight pity party (like some of you indicated), but nothing too over the top! I think we're allowed moments like that in our lives, as long as they are moments and not something we spend too much obsessing about. I am blessed with a few great stamping gigs and that's all I'm looking for! The pity party is over, so let's celebrate!!!

I'm not a big Valentine's Day card maker, probably because I'm not into cutesy stamping so much (at all). I don't HAVE any cutesy VD stamps, so I'm stuck making simple, sort of shabby chic cards, which suits me much better anyways. I made this one yesterday with my new favorite paper by Cosmo Cricket, from their Hey Sugar collection. Scrummmmmmmptious! I am going to Archivers today, I think, so I'm buying it all up!!

This card couldn't have been simpler! If you can cut out a heart (this is freehand...for some strange reason, I can cut hearts out freehand so easily) you can make this card. The sentiments are from Verve Visual (Flirty Phrases). I just stamped one of the sentiments all the way around the perimeter of the card, it was so easy now that Verve's stamps are all clear! A little bit of sewing finishes the card off beautifully. I love how easy this was. Tomorrow I'll have some more easy VD cards for you to look at, OK?

It's time for me to sign off. I'm headed out on some errands with my friend Lue. Hopefully we'll make it to Archivers later today because I've been put on a mission to find some bird stamps for my Verve teammates. Tonight we're going to a MN Wild hockey game with one of my TV reps. We'll be sitting in a suite. I'm excited to go, but I'm not excited to go outside--it's FREEZING here! Like BELOW ZERO freezing, not 45 degree freezing. This is the kind of weather where your snot freezes up the minute you walk outside! Now THAT'S cold!!!!!

Hugs,
Amy

    Hi Amy,
Wow, awesome card! I wish I could cut out a heart freehand....you did a perfect job.
Have fun at Archivers....would love to have one here.
I thought of Sid the Sloth from Ice Age when you said..."this is the kind of weather where your snot freezes".....Ain't it the truth tho'? It's way too cold out there for me.
    Stay warm!

Beautiful card Amy. So glad you are feeling better. I ate another 300 calories worth of chocolate yesterday and I am feeling much better now too.Amazing how much better one creates with a stomach full of chocolate!

I love this card, Amy! You always inspire me with your work . . . and you're down to earth. I LOVE that about your posts. I, too, am from this frigid icebox region, though south of you about 60 miles. :) ENJOY the weekend and keep on creating. You inspire more of us than you realize.
