Better late than never....

Jeepers, it's taken me a LONG time to get today's post up. I had such a busy day doing lots of little things that I've been putting off for far too long. Unfortunately, since they were such little things, I don't feel like I accomplished much!

Today is Makeover Monday. I had a paper mache oval box laying around that I decided would look beautiful covered with some Webster's Pages paper. This is what it looked like before makeover......

And this is what it looked like after the makeover!
Just so you know, it's taken me ALL DAY to get a good picture of this baby. Since it was so big, it didn't fit very well in my little photo box. To go along with the box I made a card, and the two things together in the small photo box was very squished indeed!

Isn't it cute? I love, love, love my Webster's. I covered the bottom of the box & top of the box with a pattern called Streusel, and I covered the side on the top of the box with a pattern called Ginger. Trust me when I tell you this box has lived 9 lives in it's very short life as a decorated box. I've had more things on the top of this box than you could imagine. A handmade bow. A vintage button and some cording. And finally, this silk flower and sentiment. This version is by far my favorite! The others just weren't sittin' right with me. That's another reason it took me so long to post today!

This is the card I made to coordinate with the box. It's made with the same Webster's Pages paper I used on the box. The sentiment on the front of the card is from my new stamp set from Inque Boutique! Oh my gosh, I bought a set with all these awesome quotes. It's called Quotopia. These stamps are awesome! They stamp clear, clean and crisp! There are quotes from Maya Angelou, Walt Disney, Socrates to name just a few. (See the paper "bow" to the left of the card? That was the first thing I had on top of the box....the orange flower is the second thing I had on top). There is lots of sparkle on the front of the card due to my Stardust Gel pen!!!

I hope you like today's makeover! I sure think it turned out fun!

Have a great night. Tomorrow morning is my BSF leadership meeting and then I have a lunch, so I probably won't post anything on Tuesday!

Hugs,
Amy

Okay, so I went to "Addicted to rubber stamps" and found "quotopia". but it says that the package is only 3.75"x3". this stamp looks larger than about 1"x1". Can you let me know the approximate size of this Disney Quote...then maybe I will get a good idea of how large it really is.... thanks!
