My First Day at CHA

The adrenaline is flowing girls.

It's 1033pm and I just finished my post for Craft Critique. I couldn't leave you guys hangin', so I came straight to my blog to give you an CHA update too!

What a day it's been. We got to the convention center about 830am and stood in line until the doors opened at 9am. This place is overwhelming! Booth after booth is filled with the most beautiful embellishments (the ribbon I've seen today would knock your socks off!), drop dead gorgeous paper (K&C has some stunning paper for the fall), and fantabulous holiday rubber stamps! And that's just the tip of the iceburg!

Be sure and visit Craft Critique to see what my Top 5 favorite products were today. I had many more favorites, but I tried to narrow it down for sanity sake! Just to give you a quick rundown, here they are in a shortened version:

1. May Arts Ribbon: OMG, I saw some of the most beautiful May Arts ribbon today. Their booth is literally filled with thousands of different ribbons, one more beautiful than the next!

2. Cuttlebug Dies and folders: There is a new line of dies and folders inspired by Disney! And, there's a new Cuttlebug for your little ones called Cuttlekids Shape Maker.

3. Rhonna Farrer Rub-Ons: I'm sure you all know Rhonna's bohemian style papers and stamps. Well, now she's got some amazing rub-on in reusable tins. Dreamy!

4. Hero Arts Holiday Stamps: There are some beautiful new Hero Arts stamps for the holidays! And more importantly, there are some new holiday birdies. If you read this blog, you know I'm in love with Hero Arts birds! These are no exception!

5. Karen Foster Fancy Brads: These are such fun, fancy brads. They are art within themselves!

Signing off for today (I'm EXHAUSTED) is impossible until I tell you who I rubbed shoulders with this afternoon......well......not quite rubbed shoulders with, but shared the same "air space" with.....GENEVIEVE GORDER from Trading Spaces! We were waltzing down the aisle, minding our own business, when I turn my head and bam....there she is, standing five feet in front of me! She is beautiful! Much skinnier IRL than she looks on TV (she looks skinny on TV, but you know how TV adds 10 pounds to ANYONE...even Genevieve!). Here's a picture I took just for you guys! She looks a little cranky, but when you are being handled and fawned over from everyone within 10 feet, I'd be cranky too!

Well, it's time for me to get to bed. Writing my CC article and now for my blog has drained me. Hope you enjoyed what I had to share tonight!

Hugs,
Amy
