Mom Update

Hey everyone. I just wanted to give you an update on my Mom. I heard from her just a little bit ago. The CAT scan indicated that she does NOT have a blood clot, but instead she's got narrowing of the coronary arteries. She will have a stress echo test Thursday to see how bad the narrowing is. At this point, I don't know what will happen. I guess we'll just sit back and wait for Thursdays tests to be completed. I think we are all relieved that she doesn't have the blood clot (a ticking time bomb). We can handle narrowing of the arteries! My dad had a triple bypass 10 years ago, so we're somewhat prepared. Thank you so much for your prayers! It's amazing what can happen with the power of prayer! In honor of my mom, I thought I'd show you this photo that was taken yesterday at my house for Easter. I am on the end on the right, and next to me is my Mom. The next three girls are my nieces, and the woman on the left is my SIL. We have such a great time when we get together to celebrate the holidays. My mom is definitely the matriarch, the one we gather around and look to for inspiration. She is an amazing woman. A very young 73. She works out weekly with the ladies at water aerobics and goes to a Curves type workout facility too. I can only hope I am still working out when I'm her age (what am I talking about....I'm not even working out NOW at my age like her. Isn't that sad?). Anyways, every ounce of creativity I have I owe to her. She has it in spades. Go hug your Mom today, or at the very least, give her a call and let her know what she means to you.

Good news! Thanks for posting an update. My Mom is in a nursing home with advanced Alzheimers. She's no longer the person she once was. I miss her so much! But I'm awfully glad that I'm carrying on her legacy. She and I were like two peas in a pod. Praise God for our awesome Moms!

Okay...you have a typo in your blog...your mom is NOT 73...did you mean 37??? There is NO WAY your mom can be 73...She looks no older than 45!!!! Tops! What is her secret? I can see where you get your smile and sunny disposition, your family looks lovely! I am so very glad she is doing okay...(or as okay as possible right now.) I will keep her and your family in my prayers.

    Thanks for the update.
