Signs of Spring

Well, this card may be the ONLY sign of spring today in my neck of the woods. The "storm of the century" is threatening to bear down on good old Minneapolis today, but as of right now, no such storm! It's been a bust like this all season! We have virtually no snow right now, but other parts of the country (not prone to snow) have been totally snowed under this year! Go figure. A few hours ago, I started a crockpot full of White Chicken Chili for dinner....this is a great recipe-I can't wait to dig in! It makes the house smell yummy!
Well, the snow gives me a good reason to stay home and snuggle in for the day. I just got started stamping, and I'm having fun! Since I'm so tired of winter and want spring to be here, I thought I'd make this cheerful Easter card to share with you. I bought this stamp a few days ago, it's by Hero Arts (ok, I've been plugging Hero Arts too much lately, they ought to be paying me:)!), another in their new line. Have you picked up on the fact recently that I love flower stamps? These tulips are the epitome of spring, aren't they? They are one of my favorite flowers. They are such a hopeful sign of new life! Remember, don't forget to leave a comment on yesterday's blog entry to try and win my blog candy giveaway! I haven't snuck any candy out of the tin yet, but I'm tempted! We need to get this in the hands of one of you lucky ladies so I don't have this temptation around me anymore!

Amy, I love flower stems too. I hope the storm will pass you or it won't be as bad as they say.

  10. I love your card, it's so beautiful, it makes me want to go out and purchase a cuttlebug. Is it worth it? Do you have any advice on what I would need if I got one? If you wouldn't mind sharing your expertise on the subject I would appreciate it.
