A Day for Love

This is a 5x7 frameable bible verse I made for my bible study leader--she's giving it to one of her girlfriends for her birthday (it's on the left). I didn't frame it because my bible study leader is a interior designer and she has tons of beautiful frames in her basement! The bible verse is from Romans 8:28 (And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose)which is the book we are studying this year in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). She wants 3 more of these! I took the liberty to make a birthday card that matches the bible verse just in case she wanted to buy a card too (always gotta be upselling:))! My leader loves leopard print, so it was important to get leopard print paper in both the bible verse and card. Actually, I couldn't find any leopard print paper I liked so I bought some paper bags with the leopard print on them and used those! The designer paper is some old Basic Grey lines, but it is one of my favorite. These are the colors all over my house, which explains why I love it! The bible verse is computer generated, so there was no stamping on this one.. Just plain old papercrafting. The card sentiment is from SU's Edgy Eloquence set. I love how both of these turned out. I delivered them to her a few days ago, and she loved them too. Now I just have to get busy making the others.

On a separate note, do you remember what today is? Valentine's Day! This morning, I woke up to a small little beautifully wrapped box on my bedside table! My husband wanted me to open it right then and there, but I convinced him to let me pee first and wipe the sleep out of my eyes! I woke up with a headful this morning, so my eyes were tearing up I was so stuffed up! Anyways, when I opened the box a few minutes later, I found a pair of beautiful diamond solitare earrings inside! Can you believe it? I really wasn't expecting something this extravagant, so I was so excited! I'll tell you a little more about this story a bit later, but for now I need to sign off and get ready for the day! I hope all of you have a fun loving day!
