Ahhhhh Choooooo!

I thought I'd pop in and say a quick hi to everyone! I am not feeling well tonight--we went and visited my parents this afternoon--my mom had knee surgery a few weeks ago--and they have 2 cats. I am allergic to cats. We ordered a few pizza's for lunch and I was feeling fine while I was there. No unusual stuffiness. The minute I got into the car, the sneezing started. It has been going on non-stop now since we got home at 2p or so. I took a nap to make the misery go away for a little bit, so that was nice! It started right back up though once I woke up. I am sitting here at the computer running through kleenex after kleenex thinking to myself it might be time to go to bed to make the misery go away again! Sometimes that's all I can do when my cat allergies hit. I think it's so strange though how I am fine when I'm in the house with the cat but everything goes haywire the minute I'm away from the cat. Anyone out there an allergist or married to an allergist:)????? Anyhoo, just wanted to share a card with you that I made this weekend. This is the new Cuttlebug embossing folder that I got but hadn't used yet....paper is Certainly Celery with Old Olive sponged over the top to bring some more dimension to the embossing. I love the Happy Harmony stamp set, it's so beautiful and so versatile. I stamped the flowers onto a circle scallop and doodled around the edges and distressed the whole piece with Tea Dye. The tag with the bible verse is from the Cuttlebug as well. Ribbon is so easy to find these days in my new organizer drawers! Don't you just love this polkadot organdy ribbon from Michaels? I literally can not get enough of this kind of ribbon, but it's so expensive. I am considering buying it in bulk from StarLitStudios on Ebay, but I just haven't made the jump yet. I use so much of it, it most certainly is the economically smart thing to do. Cindy sells this ribbon in bulk amounts of 50 yards for $16.50. With shipping, it's about the same price per yard as you would pay at Michaels. The benefit is you're get a ton at one time and don't have to keep running to Michaels to restock!!!! Cindy does a great job with her store, you can definitely be confident ordering from her!!!
Well, I think I'm going to wrap things up here for now. Sorry if the details on the card are a little sketchy tonight, I'm just a feeling foggy upstairs in the old noggin' from so much sneezin'. I'm so glad you can't see me right now, my face is NOT a pretty sight, especially my nose.......
It's almost time to be heading upstairs to watch this weeks episode of Desperate Housewives. I love this show! Hopefully my sneezing will stop long enough for me to enjoy it!
