Blogger is Misbehavin' tonight

I hate it when Beta Blogger misbehaves! I was just in the process of typing up a whole bunch of stuff for tonight's entry, and zap, just like that, it was gone. Grrr....

I'll cut to the chase and get right to the cards. All the other stuff was just fluff anyways. I was able to stamp a little bit last weekend, and here are few of the cards I came up with. This pink beauty was so much fun! I love black with hot pink! I sent the whole card through the CB embossing folder and then added some fun black and white polka dot paper on top to start off with. The stamp is from Rhonna Farrer, the new $1 stamps found at Joanne's. I am a big Rhonna fan, so I snatched up as many as I could get my hands on the other day! I hand colored the stamp with SU markers, and then stamped it onto Very Vanilla. I matted the flowers on black cardstock, and then placed it on top of the polka dot paper. The finishing touch was a black and white polka dot ribbon. Isn't it fun?

I was also able to make this fun card this weekend too.

I combined the unusual colors of Lovely Lilac and Cool Caribbean together with a touch of Old Olive and this is what I got. I love the colors together. It might be one of my new favorites! I took out my old stand-by, Petal Prints, and stamped a few flowers onto Very Vanilla. The "congrats" sentiment is a small CB embossing folder. I rubbed Distress Ink over the top of the "congrats" to make it stand out more. Itty Bitty backgrounds finishes the panel off beautifully around the edges. I sent a piece of Lovely Lilac cardstock through the CB flower embossing folder and then matted it in Old Olive. The card is finished off with a lilac organza ribbon.

Well, I only have a few minutes of silence left before the cherubs start looking for me. I want to stamp at least a few cards tonight to get my stash back up to acceptable levels. With that, I am signing off for the night. Have a great one!

Great colors, and I *love* your use of Petal Prints with this particular CB die--they were *made* for each other!
