Look what I found!!!!!

I wanted to share with you what I found on my trip to Archivers today! Look at these stamps, aren't they fabulous?
They're both from Hero Arts, and I LOVE THEM! The flower reminds me alot of the Technique Tuesday acrylic stamps. And just look at these new sentiments---LOVE THEM TOO! I am always on the lookout for sentiments that fit into the 1 1/4" round SU punch, and these fit perfectly. The pack of 6 sentiments was $14.99, and the flower stamp was $7.99. I'll have to post some of the cards I make with these new stamps soon:).....

Here is the 2nd Valentine's card I am posting...as some of you know, I am going to share one of my Valentine's cards with my blogging friends every day for one week, in hopes seeing them will inspire you to get going on making VD cards (typing in VD makes me giggle, because do some of you remember in high school what "VD" really meant????? Yikes!).

As usual, I am going to tell you that I LOVE BasicGrey papers, especially the new Blush line. I swear, these guys just continue to kick out rockin' designs! There is nary a one I don't like! The two papers on this card are both coordinating BG papers, simply matted in a metallic cardstock. For the heart, I first cut out the heart shape (freehand, no template), and then sent it through the Cuttlebug to get the swirls on it. I wrapped gold cording around the heart and attached a tag that says "I love you". Right above the heart, I used my new Hero Arts "from the heart" sentiment stamp. So, in essence, the card reads "from the heart....I love you". Is this not the perfect card to make for your special honey? And it won't take you forever to make it either. You can whip it out in minutes!

I am having so much fun making these Valentine's cards this week. I am diggin' the pink and brown much better than the red typically used for Valentines. I am also going to show you some cards that I have made for Valentine's that are made with non-Valentine's paper, taking non-traditional papers and turning them into funky VD cards. I hope you'll come back to check it out.

Well, we are off to go see the MN Timberwolves play tonight. I hope they win!
