They're over!!!

Thank heavens the craft shows are over. I have to tell you that this past Saturday's show was a BUST! The traffic was bad and we didn't sell much. I thought I was going to fall asleep in my chair I was so bored. Although I'm glad I finally participated in a show, I'm so glad they're over, and honestly, I don't think I'll do it again. It is so much work getting ready for them, and then, if you don't sell much, it's frustrating! The good news is that I'm excited to get started on just making CARDS again. Not that I didn't make a ton of cards for the show, but it was more of a CHORE to do so, instead of for PLEASURE, which is normally how I make my cards. I recently got an order for 11 Hanukkah cards, but unfortunately, I had NO Hanukkah stamps. I borrowed some from Lue, but then bought some of my own at a local stamp store. I must say, there sure aren't alot of Hanukkah stamps available out there! Here are a few of the Hanukkah cards I just finished making...
I didn't sell many Christmas cards at the sale. I think people don't buy handcrafted cards because they send out photocards in bulk to family and friends. So, I have a ton left. No need to make any more! I have to get busy making our family Christmas cards. I don't know what I'm going to do yet, though!!!! Help! The first thing that needs to be done is take a family photo. If anyone else has tried taking a family photo at the holidays, knows what I'm in store for! Crabby boys, fake smiles, insufficient lighting! But hey!!! What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment--I actually love trying to come up with something fun for a holiday photo. In case things get crazy in the next few days, I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Eat lots!!!
