Holiday Cheer

I made this card over the weekend, and I love how it turned out. It was inspired by SCS member Genise Bald. I wanted to insert her card in my post, but Mr. Beta Blogger wasn't being friendly this morning! Sorry Genise. Anyways, I changed the color of the card, and instead of watercoloring the background behind the martini, I used paper from the Basic Grey Fruitcake collection called Gingerbread/Orange. To color the martini lime green, I used my Twinkling H2O's. Around the scallop window I dotted silver Stickles. Once I added a ribbon and a sentiment, it was finished. Thanks to Genise for a great idea--gotta love the scallop punches! Today I am hoping to get some stamping done--my intention yesterday was to make place cards for my Thanksgiving table, but my friend Lue had my Thanksgiving stamps. We met last night to exchange some stuff, so now I've got the stamps back and can get started on the place cards. I also need to make my nephew a birthday card, as well as an anniversary card for my SIL Jayne and her hubby Ken. They live in Fairfax, VA. I'll post some pictures of the birthday card and anniversary card if they turn out!! One last thing....can you tell me what you're thankful for today? I'm feeling very thankful for my family and for my health, something I try not to take for granted!
