I've been trying to get lots of cards made these past few days, but I don't feel like I've accomplished very much. I am going to do 2 craft shows in November, and I'm going to need to pump out lots of cards between now and then. Now that school is back in session, it will be slightly easier to get some done during the day, but between shuttling the kids back and forth and cleaning the house and doing my freelance buying, there's not alot of time!!! These are a few of the cards I did manage to get done this past weekend and today.... This one is for a SCS challenge requiring doodling. I always doodle when given the chance during a meeting, etc, but I found this a tad bit difficult to do on a card, since I love my cards to be "perfect". I know, it's impossible to do anything perfectly, but a gal can try, can't she?
Can you tell I love this sunflower stamp? I don't know why, but lately I've been obsessed with this flower, I love it! This card simply states "friends". I don't think any other words are necessary! The background of this card is strips of scraps--I love using my scraps this way.....
Ok, one more card with the sunflower....! The variation here is that I made the sunflower burgendy instead of yellow! See, I can change it up when I want;). So funny. I love this card too. I promise my next post will not contain any sunflowers cards! It's time to sign off for now, but I do want to say hi to my oldest friend in the world, Chrissy, just in case she stopped by to read my blog! I love you Chrissy! Keep you eye to the mailbox:)!!!

Hi Aim,
ReplyDeleteI'm highly impressed! I've never been to a blog before, you seem very savvy! The cards look great! Congratulations on the start of your success... watch out Hallmark! You're going to do great at this. I may have to come over and do some shopping. See you tomorrow.
Love,
Di
