It's been a while!!

Boy,it's been a while since I posted anything. Sorry! It's been so busy around here the past few weeks with getting the boys ready for the new school year that I haven't had time to do much blogging. Now that we've got the first week of school successfully under our belt, I've got the time (and energy) to get back on top of my creative pursuits!
I've managed to get some cards made the last few days, despite the craziness. I'm sort of going through a transition in the types of cards I'm making. Lately, I've been making collage type cards--I just love how they look.
The color paper I'm using is also changing, especially now that the weather's changing...it's only in the 60's today!!!! Yikes! Instead of bright pinks, oranges, and greens, I'm going for the more muted fall colors...rusts, burgandy's, taupes, olive greens, etc. These are a few of the cards I've created in the past few days...Because I've changed over into making the collage type cards, I've found it more difficult to get a card done, because I'm not quite fully schooled yet in the collage format. It's sort of like my creativity is stunted because I don't know what I'm doing! What that means is I'm not making as many cards as I want to be making, especially since I'm going to be in two craft shows this fall....maybe for every one collage card I make, I'll pump out 20 basic, easy cards to start stockpiling some before the shows.
With that said, I need to sign off and get busy...I bought some new stamps at Archivers today, and I'm excited to get busy with them!
