Thank You

I just want to send a big thank you out to all my wonderful blog friends who sent me such beautiful notes following Ken's death. This card is for you! Your words lifted me up during a really rough few days!

Can you believe it? I finally got some cards made and photographed! Woot-woot! Feels great to finally post a card here again. I love the bright colors of this one, they are perfect for cheering me up!

Well, we are trying to get packed and ready to fly out to VA Wednesday morning. Ken's visitation and funeral will be on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The burial will come at a later date, as his wishes were to be buried at Arlington National Cemetary and there is a wait list do do that. Jayne asked my hubby (her brother) to give a eulogy, so Doug will start writing that soon. He thought the airplane would be a good place to work on it. We had to buy Youngest Son a new suit because he grew TWO sizes since his grandma's funeral a year and a half ago! Not good. But I was lucky to snag a suit on sale at Macy's last week that works perfectly and makes him look oh-so handsome. Hopefully it will last a while before he outgrows it again!

Well, I have a small window of time tonight that I can stamp some cards, so I'm off. Again, thank you for your loving support! This card's for YOU!

Hugs,

Amy
