With All My Love

I can't remember who's sketch I used for this card...I am wondering if it wasn't OCC? Hopefully someone reading my blog today will know. (ETA: Looks like it's Mojo Monday Sketch #68! Thanks Kerry J.!) I don't think it was a Verve sketch, although I used my Verve valentine stamps from last year (Heart to Heart) to make it! Don't you just love the brown and pink together and the great big heart in the middle?

I just got done making some chocolate chip cookies for the boys to celebrate the last day of 1st semester finals. I'll have a fresh plate of cookies waiting for them when they get home from school this afternoon. It's been a stressful week for them both, but mostly Scottie, since this is his first year at the high school. I can't believe Eric only has ONE SEMESTER left of high school! Waaaaa! The time has flown by sooooo fast. I'm already starting to feel funny about him graduating, I can't imagine what I'll be like in a few more months when the day gets closer. I think I'll be a blubbering idiot. In fact, I know I will be, lol.

Since I have to work this afternoon, I'm going to check out now. I've got to jump in the shower and get cleaned up. Hope you all have a great day!

  1. this feels like a bit of a departure for you somehpow...maybe it's the rick rack. still, it's great! i love the perception of depth i get with the hearts and the signature use of designer paper.

btw, love the idea about the scripture journal for your mom! your hand's gonna get tired, but she's gonna love having that! what about making some baked good that she really likes--that freezes well--in a quantity of 75, so she can pull some out every now and then and enjoy them?

  2. Pretty sure it was Mojo Monday #68. Love your card Amy!!

  3. This is so pretty, Amy!! Love the papers, hearts, rick rack and buttons!!
