As I had mentioned a few days ago, I recently purchased the Quilter's Sampler set (and the Quilter's Sampler Sentiments too) from PTI. I have had my little eye on these sets since Nichole first released them, so I should get a medal for waiting this long to buy:), lol. I have always been drawn to it because my mom used to be a quilter, and I myself made a small 4-square quilt, back in my early days as a young married woman. So, I'm so happy I finally got it!
Here's a little close up for you of the scissors and thread....I secured the end of the thread to the card under a little star from the quilt and a piece of dimensional tape....
The scissors and quilt squares were colored with Copics.
I can't wait to play with this set some more. It's such a blast!
Well ladies, I've got to run. I have to work again. No rest for the weary they say. Oh, and BTW, we're having a heat wave today...it's above ZERO for the first time in days! Woo-hoo!!
Hugs,
Amy
Very cute! I love the idea of the thread going through the scissors. I may have to copy that.
