The Reason for the Season

I was blessed recently to receive a WHOLE bunch of WONDERFUL products from my friends at JustRite. Blessed with a capital B-L-E-S-S-E-D. Someone pinch me please, lol!

The first JR package I dug into to get inky was the Christmas Stamp Ensemble, which utilizes the 3 1/4 inch Harmony Classic Circle wooden stamper. This baby is BIG! There are so many interchangable holiday borders and design centers in this set it's unbelievable. When I saw the border that said "Celebrate the Season", I instantly thought of the birth of Jesus Christ, the main reason behind this blessed season we celebrate. I wanted to tie the border into a image with Baby Jesus in the manger. I've had the image for a few seasons now, but haven't used it alot. My JustRite Christmas Stamp Ensemble gave me the perfect reason to use it again!

First I stamped the border on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with brown ink. Then I stamped and colored the main image on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock as well. I cut out the main image with a circle Nestie and then mounted it inside the circle border. It's popped up with some dimensionals. Of course the card needed some bling, so I managed that by putting a sparkly snowflake on my sentiment flag.

I placed the main image and sentiment on top of a piece of brown metallic cardstock that I first ran through my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder.

I adore JR products, and that's the honest to goodness truth! Their products are amazingly versatile and soooooo useful. Remember, the place to buy all your JustRite products is over at Stamper's Dream. Michelle just got a whole boatload of new products in, so now's the time to head on over to check them out for yourselves. I'm not kiddin'....you'll love them.
