Rejoice In The Miracle of the Season

Well, I hope you all had a wonderfully scrumptious Thanksgiving yesterday! I certainly did, and I can prove it because I can't get my pants zipped! Just kidding.

I guess the Christmas Season is officially on now that Thanksgiving is behind us. Or, are we on to Valentine's Day already? LOL!

I'm still on a roll trying to use up scraps and what-not on my cards. This card uses up paper scraps from last Christmas. The really cool hemp/twine you see underneath the star is really a "ribbon". Those strands are all connected, just like in a ribbon. I got it in a box of goodies from CARDS magazine.

The velvet button you see on top of the star is very old, very vintage. I just love it. It adds the perfect touch to this Christmas card, doesn't it?

Holiday Hugs,
Amy

  2. Amy,
I love this one. It's so very old fashioned and heritage reminiscent. What a special card for a Mom or Grandmom . Including a old family photo in an antique frame would make a terrific gift in itself.
Thanks again for sharing with all of us.

  4. Oh so pretty Amy. I've not stopped by in so long ... been busy with the little ones and the day just runs away from me {no time for computers}. Oh but one day they'll be older and in school all day and then I'll be making some time out for me and my art! *wink* Thanks for inspiring me whenever I get the chance to peek in. (now on to read some of your latest posts and find some more eye candy!)
