Real Recipe Friday

I'm sorry to say I've got no Thanksgiving recipe for you today. No time to put anything together, unfortunately. So instead of sharing a recipe of mine with you, I am sending you to The Pioneer Woman Cooks, which is THE most amazing cooking blog this side of the universe. I'm sure most of you know which one I'm speaking of. She's got lots and lots of Thanksgiving recipes for you to choose from, so be sure and head over there after you're done here, k?

As I mentioned to you the other day, I haven't been stamping much.... {{ahem}}...I mean at all. It's a big adjustment for me not to have time for my favorite/only stress relieving activity. See, I don't drink (maybe once in a blue moon), I don't smoke, I don't gamble, I don't party. Those things that many people do to unwind after a long day. Instead, I like to stamp...create. It's buggin' me I don't have that release. I think the entire rest of November and all of December is going to be this way. Good thing I got a few holiday cards made before the onslaught of work descended upon me!

So, with that said, here is a card I made a while back. It's one of the cards that I put into my little auction item last weekend. Speaking of the auction....I have no idea how much my purse/card went for. I know there were bids on it, but the place was JAMMED and it was hard to get around in the final moments of the event for me to check it out. I have a feeling the auction raised lots of money for the kids, so that's all that matters!

The card is made with scraps....again. I love using up scraps. And using up decorative chipboard I've had laying around forever. Have the rest of you tried using up some scraps lately? Think of it as "going green", lol.

Well, I've got to run. More freelance to work on the first half of today, and then I work at the office for the rest of the day. Tonight is Eldest Son's big indoor marching band concert. I hope I won't be late...I would hate to miss his final concert as a member of the marching band!

Hugs,
Amy
