Peace

Here is another scrap card that I made this weekend, based on a card I saw over on Kandis Smith's blog called My Creative Treasury. She is an amazing artist, and I find myself being inspired by her work all the time. I can't find the card that I cased of hers, but if I happen to find it between now and when this finally posts, I'll put in the link.

I think the top and middle papers are from Basic Grey, and the vertical strip as well as the bottom paper is from Cosmo Cricket. Unfortunately, it's hard to give credit to the appropriate companies when you are using scraps!

The bird comes from Hero Arts...boy, I haven't used these little guys for ages! The tag is a nestie, and the sentiment is from JustRite. You can read the sentiment IRL better than you can in this picture.

Well, today is a big day....it's my first day of training at my new job! When I'm done with that I need to race back home to work on my freelance tv buy. I just found out today that the client wants to add more advertising to December, so my days will be uber busy for weeks to come.

I hope I can handle it all!

Hugs,
Amy

ETA: Two things....don't forget to vote today! The lines were long at the voting locations I drove by this morning. Secondly, in response to the Annonymous comment I received last night from someone here in Lakeville--you are right (whoever you are:))...I gave incorrect information in my post on Saturday...it wasn't a band member who attacked a football player...it was our football player who grabbed the facemask of an opposing football player as he was leaving the stadium. It happened in front of the band. Don't know why I thought it was a band member....when the boys were telling me about this kid after the game I thought he was in the band, not a football player. The story makes much more sense than it did when they first told me! My bad!
