I think as long as I'm making cards this week, I am going to be grabbing from the scrap drawer. I'm having so much fun doing it, that I'll do it as long as the desire to do so exists. I know I'll tire of it one of these days, but for now, I'll keep working with the scraps.
As I said yesterday, I am also trying to use up the chipboard I've had in my stash for like, a million years. You can see what I mean by today's card. I don't use stuff like this too often (like never), but thought I'd take it out and see what I could do with it.
Every piece of paper on today's card came from the scrap drawer. The black paper is old, old, old, but I adore putting black with brights, so it fit perfectly here. The only stamping I did was the letters, which are from SU. I really like how it turned out! I think I got about 10 scrap cards made this weekend, it was so much fun! I wonder when the fun is gonna end?????
So what did everyone do this weekend? We had the big game Friday night, I went to see my nephew as he performed in his very first musical at his college. He was one of the guys in the barber shop quartet in Music Man, if you've seen it before and know who they are. He did SUCH a great job!!! I was very proud of him. It's the first musical he's ever participated in, and he was fabulous! Yesterday I did nothing, and I was happy doing it. I got some stamping done, some of my BSF lesson done, and I finished reading a book too. I also ran a few errands, mostly so I could buy a few pairs of pants for my new job, so I could look professional again! I don't think sweatshirts and sweatpants are accepted professional attire, lol!
Today I have to work on my freelance buys all day, so I highly doubt I'll be visiting the stamping table at all. Good thing I got so much done this weekend!
