Holiday Bright

I love birds. And I love my Hero Arts birds although I haven't used them for a year.

The other thing I'm in love with is this x-mas paper by We Are Memory Keepers! Isn't it amazing? Of course, we all know I love bright colors, and the fact that I can use them during the holiday season too makes me smile!

The chipboard star is from Bazzill, which I covered with more W R Memory Keepers paper. Found a few matching buttons hanging around, and a matching polka dot ribbon and I was in business.

I love it when it all comes together perfectly!

Holiday Hugs,

Amy

p.s.

I had to share this email with you that I got yesterday from one of my blog readers, Marci Ausbon...

"I have to just let you know that I tried your make ahead gravy last night. It was absolutely the best gravy I ever had! My nephew was my official taste tester and thought that I needed to make more and that he could eat alone like a soup! Since I think I make the best turkey in the world this gravy is going to compliment my turkey perfectly.

Thanks for sharing your fabulous recipes."

Thanks for the email Marci! I am so glad to hear you liked the gravy, I do too! For those of you that are making Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, it's still not too late to get started on your Make-Ahead Gravy! I was at the grocery store the other day and saw a package of turkey wings from The Turkey Store. You shouldn't have any trouble finding some in your area too!

  3. I love this card. I am not much of a bright colors kinda gal but this paper is great. It is really great for other things than just Christmas too. That is one thing I look for, is it good for more than just the one use?
TFS!!! I don't think I am going to do the gravy recipe for Thanksgiving but it would be fun to try for Christmas, thanks.

  8. Beautiful card! I never thought of putting that aqua with Christmas colors! I love it! OH! and I too make the make ahead gravy Sunday. We decided to Rotisserie our bird this year and knew I wouldn't have many drippings. It turned out fabulous and can hardly wait to serve it to the family today! This will stay in my collection for years to come
