K.I.S.S (Keepin' It Soooo Simple) Saturdays

Mmmmm.

Lime green, black and red. I wonder if that's ever been a color combo used over at SCS for their color challenge Tuesdays???? Somehow, I'm don't think so, LOL!

Whatever made me choose these colors, I'm not sure, but I do like them all together, believe it or not!!! I must have been living on the edge the morning I made this.

I thought the layout was perfect for a K.I.S.S. Saturday card though! Really, really simple, and not alot of stamping either. The large, black polka dot circle was made using my Creative Memories cutting system, I cut the scalloped edge around the circle with scalloped scissors, the stars were punched with my star punch, and the circle within the star was punched with my 1" circle punch. Keeping with the circle theme, I punched out my sentiment using a circle punch as well.

You should be able to re-create this card on your own in no time. In fact, I might be making some more of these today it was so simple!

Yesterday we went on a mini roadtrip with the family. It was nice to get away and the scenery was beautiful. There was a scrapbook store in town, so I was able to pick up a few sheets of designer paper. I don't know about you, but I haven't found much new fall paper yet. Have any of you? I hope Archiver's rolls theirs out soon. We have no plans for today...Hubby works for a few hours, but that's about it. That means I get to stamp a little bit! Woo-hoo!
