Heart Sings Again

I decided to take out one of my favorite bird sets since I haven't used it for a little while now. I got this set from Stamper's Dream; it's called Heart Sing, and it's from Rubber Soul. I looooove birds, and I was feeling a strong desire to stamp some!

This summer, you've probably noticed I've been really using some strong, bold colors for my cards. I love brights and blacks together, so that's the direction I took for this card. Black, Pink Passion, and lime green. Is there anything bolder I ask you?

If you like this set too, you can still find it at Stamper's Dream. Michelle is getting so many fun new things in the store everyday, so while you're there, be sure to take a peek around. The biggest new thing Michelle has in stock now is Prism Prismatics Carstock! In every color your little heart can imagine! Holiday Changito stamps from Stampendous, halloween stamps from My Favorite Things, Neenah Cardstock (I guess this stuff is just the bomb!!!), and holiday stamps from Inkadinkado!! And don't forget, there is free shipping for all domestic orders over $75!

It's been quiet on the homefront this week with Youngest Son at camp. We'll pick him up at church tomorrow evening. Eldest Son and I have been keeping up with our movie marathon....yesterday we watched Liar, Liar, and I wasn't very impressed. I think today we might watch The DaVinci Code. I have been getting a lot of stamping done, and I'm happy to say that the mojo is IN HOUSE and I am creating some fun stuff!

On the job front for Hubby, there are a few things in the works. The same ones that have been in the works for WEEKS! In an economy such as the one we are currently experiencing, companies are slow to hire. I'm happy to report that I just got invited to interview for a job at the hospital again! This time the job is in the admitting department. There are two jobs available, each with specific hours, so I am praying that God just be in every aspect of the interview and that he leads me to which one he knows is best for me. The hours are very different, and I have a preference, but at this point, I'll take whatever I can get! Please pray for me. The interview will be next Monday at 3pm.

We don't have any big plans for the weekend! Yippee! I love that. The weather has been amazing, so I'm hoping to spend a little time outside, maybe taking pictures. Hope you all have a great weekend too!

Hugs,
Amy

  4. Good luck with the job interview, Amy! I really hope you get the job, preferably with the hours you would like, but either would be wonderful.

Beautiful card, too. I'm glad your mojo is back again! (We'll be heading your way in a few hours on our way to Austin:) )
