Comfy Jammies....

Good morning! How's it shaking today?

It's about 615am and my house is quiet (gloriously so). I'm in my office and the window in front of me is open. The cool morning breeze is blowing lightly on my face. The smells of morning dew, fresh cut grass and the sound of birds singing their precious tunes delight my every sense. It is glorious. Thank you God, for your breakthtaking creation!

I made today's card this past Sunday for a woman who loves my cards. She and her husband (Ginger and Bob Roman) were in town this past weekend for the Women's Open. She wanted a boatload of cards to take back with her to NC (I think that's where they live, but I'm not 100% sure). One of the requests she had was for get well cards. I don't make a lot of get well cards, but when I do, these Bella Stamps pajamas are what I grab to get started. Aren't they adorable? The sentiment is one I found AFTER I bought the jammies, but isn't it perfect?

I needed a really simple but effective sketch for the card, so this is what I came up with. It's perfect to show off those designer papers you've been hoarding (yes, I'm talking to YOU). Pull them out and get busy! I believe this paper is by Fancy Pants, but I'm not sure. I'm so bad at remember my papers.....

I ended up making about 18 cards (not all get-well, mostly birthday and sympathy) for Ginger....I hope she likes them!

Well, today we might end up going to the zoo! It's another beautiful day, so we've got to do things while the getting is good! I really want to go strawberry picking too with the boys, so maybe we'll throw that in for good measure this evening when it's cooler!
