More Verve News

Just what you always like to hear....more new stamps to buy!!!!! LOL. Tomorrow Verve is releasing four new stamp sets!

Did you know, Verve has the best sentiment stamps in town, and the new All About You set is no exception. Letting that special someone in your life know how special they are to you is easy with this fabulous set of 5 amazing sentiments. Each one is more inspiring than the next!

I wanted to create a romantic card to let my hubby know just how important he is to me, so I combined one of the sentiments from All About You with an ornate heart stamp (Stampendous) that I embossed with silver embossing powder. The designer paper from SEI (Jolie Chocolat Collection) pretty much stands on it own because it’s so bold, so adding a simple, heart-touching Verve sentiment was all this card needed to be complete.

So, did you notice I am calling Verve just "Verve" now? That's part of my other really big news! Julee has decided to rename Verve Visual to Verve Stamps to celebrate her move from a company that sells many different products to one that concentrates it's energy on STAMPS only! Yep, that's what Verve does best.....stamps! She has so many fun things up her sleeve for Verve's one year anniversary, you aren't going to want to miss it. Go check out the new Verve blog and Verve logo right now, Julee did a great job with the new design!

The newest stamps sets (All About You, Here For You, Asian Flair, and Feeling Groovy) will be released Wednesday (tomorrow!!!). If you want to see more sneek peek projects of all these new sets, check out this link and this link. There will be one more sneek peek by the Verve Diva's today, so be sure and head over to the Verve Blog sometime to see what amazing eye candy they're going to tease us with today, ok?

I wanted to show you a few pics I took on Saturday at my niece Rachel's graduation open house. Actually, two of the pictures are of my two OTHER nieces (Mary and Jessica), and I included a shot with my son Eric as well. The three of them will be seniors next fall, so we wanted to get the three of them together just for fun. Mary's mom also asked me to take a few pics of each of the girls alone, so the three of us girls (we dragged Eric in only near the end....boys are not into PHOTO SHOOTS!!!) walked all over my brother's yard (he lives on 10 acres with horses) pretending we were superstar models!!! It was so much fun, the girls did such a great job and were good sports when I made them stare into the sun or walk on wood chips to try to get the perfect shot. Aren't they gorgeous????? I have been busy trying to edit the shots, which is time consuming at best, especially when you're an amatuer photographer and have to edit out so many mistakes. But, I should be able to email them to the girls in a day or two--they are so excited to see them!

Aren't they a couple of beauties? I had so much fun playing together with them! I hope they like the pictures!

Well, gotta run. I'm getting hungry for some breakfast!

Hugs,

Amy
