Greetings!

We're back safe and sound!

But true to form, it's going to take me a few days to regain my bearings, finish washing the clothes, and get everything put back in it's place. I'm hoping to get back into the stamping room soon, and when I do, I'll be sure to post what I've made.

In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite shots from our WONDERFUL trip up to COP. We had phenomenal weather (amazing since it rained for 10 days straight before we got up there) and so many fun times I couldn't possibly share them all here. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. God blessed our family with everything we needed to strengthen our love for each other and our faith and trust in Him!

I'll share more later, OK?

Hugs,

Amy

This is my hubby playing 1st base in the Old Guys vs. Young Guys annual softball game!

This is the chapel, where we gather at 845am each morning and 715pm each evening. This shot was taken while I was sitting in the pews....

and this shot was taken while I stood on the alter above looking out toward the pews!

Here's a funny one of my guys while we were waiting one evening for evening chapel. Youngest Son is clearly exhausted from running all day! I'm not sure what Oldest Son was doing here, being silly, I think!

This was the night we went down to the shores of Lake Superior for our evening chapel service. The kids were having a blast being together, creating their own special memories of COP....

While we're down on the shore for chapel service, we make sure to take a family picture for the annual Christmas card. Not too bad....

This next picture is a fabulous shot of Oldest Son and his friend Matt. Matt's family (Rick, Susan, Michael and David), are very special friends, and we feel blessed to have the opportunity each year to come together and worship with this wonderful family...

Here is a picture of us with Rick and Susan (Matt's parents), Marni (she's on the camp staff), and Sue G. Sue is another very special friend, I'm just not sure why her hubby Mike wasn't in this shot.....!

Hope you enjoyed a peek into our wonderful week!

  7. I love seeing your pictures. It makes me think of my fond memories of Minnesota. My dad grew up on a farm outside Hibbing near Toivola. We had some good times at Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's farm. I still have family in MN, mainly cousins. A few years ago we had a family reunion on Lake Vermillion near Eli. What a fun time. We all drove to the old farm on the last day which was very melancholy for us since it was sold outside the family to neighbors. Oh well, life goes on. Thanks for sharing.
