Saturday was a beautiful day here! It was in the 60's!!!! Yippee!
After I was finished blogging yesterday morning, I went out for a 2 mile walk. I've been trying to get out and exercise more than I have been in the past 6 months (which has pretty much been zilcho!). Earlier in the week, the hubby and I only took short walks because the wind made it pretty cold. Yesterday however, it was gorgeous and I could walk my whole route! Youngest son and hubby took the Christmas lights down (we keep them up in MN until it warms up, but never turn them on!), and had a major poop patrol pick up to clean up the yard. Let me tell you, soggy poop that's been sitting under the snow all winter is NOT a pleasant sight! Thank heavens my little guy's poops are no bigger than a Tootsie Roll! OK, enough on that gross talk.....
Anyways, here are a few more cards for you to look at that I made on my weekend getaway last weekend! Still lots of pinks, oranges and bright greens for you! I have to say....I LOVE my new CHF lined note book backgrounder! And I totally love my Silhouette Blossoms from CHF too. These stamps make card making uber easy! And uber beautiful too!! I know I've already showed a few cards like this early last week, but I knew you wouldn't mind if I showed a few more, this time sharing one with SU felt flowers!
I'm going to keep it short today, so if you've got any questions on how I made either card, just leave me a comment and I'll try to answer them tomorrow. In the meantime, have a great day! I love spring!
Hugs,
Amy

Love both cards, Amy, but I ADORE that first one! I finally ordered that lined paper backgrounder and can't wait for it to get here! :)
ReplyDeleteYour cards are just super cute! I'm really in love with the first one. It just hits the spot!
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards--the colors of the second are awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the bg on the first too---that card is amazing!
Sorry about that soggy poop problem...funny (to me) but i am sure not to the scooper!
hee hee. Josh was on poop patrol last weekend. You can just keep on rolling out those lined paper and silhouette cards. I LOVE 'em. How'd the interview go?
ReplyDeleteYou can't show too many pink cards for me. I love them! I am in awe of all the beautiful cards you turned out in such a short amount of time.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the fact that all the dog poop would be waiting for you when spring arrived. Just one more reason to be glad I live in paradise. : )
Amy..what a joy to see your spirits pick up with the warmer weather..and the color of your cards show the energy you're getting back. The colors are vibrant and exciting and you sound good which is a blessing. Look to the SON.
ReplyDeleteLove the citrus colours! (and margaritas are always yummy too) I'm also quite fond of the lined paper background too - would go perfect with my 'elementary essentials' stamp set, to do some school pages for the boys :) All the Christmas stuff here is just coming down now too!
ReplyDeleteLove both these cards and your Scrap Stash Saturday was fab-u-lous! I hope they have those at our Michael's. Trying to catch up on blogging after spending the weekend camping in the mud with my GS Troop- you've not lived until you've tried to get Alabama red clay mud out of clothes!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! I just love the background stamp that looks like school paper, who's it by?
ReplyDeleteTiffany :)
You've totally got me hooked on the lined paper and silhouettes. Your creations are just SO gorgeous, Amy! Love the fab colors on the margarita card, too.
