Someone Cares

For only the second time ever, I ordered from PTI. I couldn't resist her new cross and bible verse collection. And I had to finally give her white cardstock a try too--everyone raves about it. It is thick, I'll give you that! I haven't stamped on it too much yet, but I'm sure it will be fine. This is the first card I made using my new set.

It's been so busy around here! The crafting gathering with all the basketball moms went well on Friday night. But after everyone left, I started feeling like a Mack Truck had hit me. Totally exhausted. Unfortunately, I felt the same way the next morning when I had to get up and get ready to go to Youngest Son's 8am basketball game 40 minutes from our house. That means we were out of the house at 650a--and I could barely move I felt so tired. It was strange.

As the day wore on, I felt even more tired. By the time we got home, I crashed in my big chair for at least and hour, then I tried to get a little bloggin' and blurfin' done, but I couldn't hardly handle that. I laid on the couch awhile until Eldest Son came home with a gaggle of friends. I fed them, then at 8pm, I went to bed and tried to get some extra sleep. But sleep wouldn't come. And if it did for a minute or two, it was almost as if I was having a very delirious sleep, strange dreams, etc. I don't think I fell asleep until after my husband came in at 1030p! And the rest of the night, I slept fitfully, waking every hour. Ugh. But, this morning, when I woke up, I felt better than I did last night. That's a blessing.

Well, today we have two more ball games. I haven't started my BSF lesson yet, yikes. When do you suppose I'll get that done? I will probably have to finish it all after I get home from basketball! I plan on putting a pork butt in the oven before we leave this morning so we can have pulled pork sandwhiches tonight for dinner. Doesn't that sound super yummy?

Have a great day!

Hugs,Amy

  2. That doesn't sound good, Amy. I know it's easy for ME to say - but GET MORE REST!!! My back is a bit better this morning, but still so painful I can't go to church (it would be funny seeing people look at me... moaning & groaning each time I got up or down. LOL!) My prescriptions are still making me sleep thru most of the day - no fun! But... our God is faithful & if He has called you to the work, He will enable you to do it!!! I can just see you flying through the lesson! LOL!!! Hope your day is blessed in MANY ways!
