Ring in the New Year with New Stamps!

I'd knew I could grab your attention with a headline like that! You heard me right. New stamps. For you. Yes, you!

What KIND of stamps, you ask? Jeepers, you guys are demanding! Ok, I'll spill. Right here, at Heartfelt Greetings, you have a chance to win a Verve Visual stamp set called Starlight Starbright Remixed!

As some of you might know, all of the stamps that Verve will produce from here on out will be repositionable photopolymer instead of unmounted red rubber. Since so many of the early Verve rubber stamps were such a hit, Julee decided to make a few of them into clear sets too! Woo-hoo!

I suppose you want to know HOW you can win this new Verve set, mmmm??? I've been thinking about that very thing for a while now, and I think I've finally settled on a way to do it. I'm really going to make you work hard to win this stamp set, girlfriends. You have to put on your thinkin' caps for this contest!

Ok here goes. Please leave me a comment, on this post ONLY, telling me what kind of stamps YOU'D like to see Verve Visual produce! I want to be able to give Julee a great big list of the kinds of stamps YOU GUYS (or GALS), the people who actually buy the stamps, would love to see created by someone. Leave me ideas for images, sets, and sentiments! If you've thought about this before, then now's the time to reveal your great idea! Now, I can't promise Julee will ever use any of the ideas (I'm kinda doing this whole deal without her prior knowledge or written consent...yikes), but you never know. Julee's a savvy businesswoman, and cares about her customers (might I add she's also a fabulous boss and cares immensly for her design team????). If she knows her customers really want something specific in a stamp set, she'll do what she can to bring it to you! Here's your chance to have a voice--I hope everyone that visits my blog will participate in this giveaway! Speak now or forever hold your peace!!!

I can't WAIT to read about all your fabulous ideas!!!!! I know they'll be amazing!

I will give you up until December 31st, midnight, to enter the contest. A winner will be drawn bright and early on January 1st, 2008! Only one entry per person, please.

Well, it's about time to hit the "publish" button so the ideas can start rollin' in! I can't wait!!! Oh, by the way, January 10th is the big day Verve releases 5 new clear sets! Beginning January 1, there will be daily sneak peaks on the Verve blog highlighting all of them! Woo-hoo!

Hugs,

Amy

  1. Hi Amy and Happy New Year!!
I would love to see Verve Visual do a stamp set that combines phrases for both the outside of the card and then would work for the inside. I have heard them called "inys and outies"--not sure how to spell them. I love the verve stamps. Thanks for the chance.

Thats my wish for furture sets ... sets that work for masculine cards (teen guys and beyond). Stamps that inspire me to make wonderful cards for the guys in my life - it's easy to find things for all the woman and girls but not so much for the guys. Oh Amy - what a fun way to start the new year. I hope I win! *wink* (don't we all just shout and giggle and say pick me - pick me!!)

I mean really masculine images for MEN. That would make my life so much easier when it comes to making cards for the men in my life: Hubby, Dad, Father-in-Law, Brother-in-Law, etc.
Thanks for offering such a prize to your viewers. BTW, I actually bought your now famous bird stamps 2 days before I saw your first post of them! I was so excited to be inspired before I even knew it. LOL! Take care and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  85. A couple of things that I'd like to see/find in stamps:

    1) a set or group that caters to co-workers and the boss...we know there are a lot of stampers who make things for 'the boss' or co-workers, so this would be fun and very useful!

    2) an international set...thinking of Russia, France, China, Japan, etc...not sure how, but I know alot of friends and people who are making big career moves - to France, to Japan, and to China...and a friend who just returned from Russia (she met her fiance over there). If there were a way to make stamps to fit these areas, I'd be very likely to buy them!!
