Enabler Alert!

Take a look at these beauties! Have you ever seen such a glorious sight?
These are the flowers I bought today at a LSS. They come in a snazzy blue organdy bag with tassle ties...and best of all, they're Primas!! It's called The Bitty Bag...
let me tell you, this bag is FULL of gorgeous, colorful flowers of every shape and size, just perfect for the last touch on your handmade card. I used one tonight on a card! I found the Prima blog just a few minutes ago, and promptly bookmarked it to make it a part of my morning blog routine. Here is the link to the Prima blog. I just love finding new embellishments. But I think I'm a hoarder like many of you, so once I buy them, it's hard to part with them!

Oh my, I've got a bad case of hiccups right now and it's making typing this post difficult. I don't know about you, but when I get the hiccups once during the day, I get them the rest of the day in sporatic bouts. Thank heavens I just got them for the first time. That means I shouldn't have to endure them much longer today, as there are only a few more hours left in the day:)!!! I am also including a picture of my son playing basketball last night.
This is the first time I've taken pictures of him with my new Nikon D40 (he's making the layup at the basket, in the green shirt). It's not a bad shot, overall I'm pleased. I just need to figure out the proper settings to get even better shots. In almost all my shots last night, the ball seemed in motion....meaning it was blurry. Anyone know how to fix that? It's tough taking pictures on a basketball court, because typically the lighting is pretty bad. But if you know the secret to taking great basketball shots, I'd pay handsomely for it!!!

  1. I am totally a prima hoarder! They are so pretty I have to make myself use them more often. I will be looking for these bitty bags.

  2. Ok, I think I'm needing this now! Thanks, enabler!! ;)

As for the photography, poor light is difficult to capture movement in. To let more light in, you have to have the apeture open more and to stop the motion, you need to have the shutter close faster. (or flash, but that only goes so far and I doubt your son would want it flashing like paparatzi during his game. hehehe) It's a hard combo!
