Don't Give Up on Me....

Crap. I just can't seem to get it together enough to stamp or blog!

Just thought I'd post a little something to let all of you who care about me know that I wasn't dead or incapcitated in any way, but that I'm so overwhelmed trying to get everything done in my life that needs to be done. Stamping needs to be done, but no one seems to care about that, so it's not getting the respect it deserves;0)!

I am seriously wondering if I have any readers anymore....I don't even want to look at my feed counter because I know it's seriously hurting...readers are unsubscribing by the day! Can't say I blame them...there's nothing going on here for them to read. I really do want to get going on this again....it's really bugging me that I can't get my you-know-what together to stamp and blog.

Seriously, it's on the top of my list of things to do. I'm just not sure it's on the top of anyone else's list of things for me to do.....alas, therein lies the problem. Here's hoping I get to stamp tonight!

Hugs,
Amy

  3. Amy, I've been "stalking" your blog for two years. You've been through some life-altering events, many of them hardships. You're OK, and your cards are worth waiting for. Do what you can do when you can do it. I, for one, understand!

    Take your time. =)

  7. Hang in there, Amy! In my humble opinion, the numbers have no relevance. What is relevant is that you blog without obligation. Your loyal readers will wait for you, some with baited breath even.

  8. I'm still here and I enjoy reading whenever you get to post and share what you create. Life gets busy for everyone - hope you have a great summer and enjoy the time with your family and your son before he goes off to college! Be sure to take time for yourself too!

  10. Hey Amy! Don't worry, some of us are still here! I know just what you mean about stamping (and all the other crafty things I do!). I can't seem to find the time right now either but I love your blog and will not be unsubbing so just keep on doing those things that life hits us with!

  14. Hi Amy! May I suggest you get back into stamping/blogging by bringing back your scrap challenge? That was always one of my favorites...so amazing to see what you could come up with! Come on girl, you can do it! :) And I think you'll be surprised how many fans you still have!
    We'll be waiting...smiles 2 u! :)

  17. Halo Amy
Most of the time we do have to do the necessary stuff before the pleasurable stuff. I pop in every day to see if there is something and I know you will post when you have the time. Great to hear you are still ok even if you are very busy. Hope you get to the workroom soon.

  19. I'm still out here! It's tough when our life crowds out stamping and blogging, huh? I miss your scrap challenge. You always amazed me at your ability to make *anything* go together. You'll get back to it. Can you take out even 1/2 hour each day to create? Any little bit matters. But when you can't fit it in, be kind to yourself. You are doing the best you can.

  20. Hang in there. I am going through "stuff" too and find art difficult with moments of joy. Still with you.

  21. I'm still here girl! :D I had quite a slump in my crafting/blogging too and lost a bunch of readers. I figured though, my break was obviously needed and it didn't matter how many readers I lost in the process! :D Don't you worry about losing me, I'll stick with you no matter what!

  22. I'm popping in constantly and wondering how you are doing. We know how busy summer is, and with you just having a graduation and a shower, etc., plus work, we know you are busy, too! Hang in there! You have lots of loyal (albeit silent?) followers! I'm one! :)

  23. I was just going to email to see how you've been. I knew you were away for a little while. I hope you find some time for you soon. Everyone needs to rejuvenate. Even if it's not necessarily stamping time. Hugs girlie.

  24. Amy, I love seeing your work but sometimes other things take priority so take your time and get things done and blog or post whenever you get the chance. Be looking forward to what you do and when.

  25. Hang in there Amy... I'm very patient...I waited 14 years for a place big enough for a dining room table....take care of business and visit when you can. Hugs from Michigan

  26. Hi Amy,
I've been wondering how you are because I particularly enjoy your blog. But, I know what it's like when you just can't seem to make it work and stamping is a chore rather than a joy. I will pray for you that you get your 'joie de stamping' back really soon.
By the way, how did your church camp go? What a beautiful location. Our church camp is in a beautiful location, but your's is really somewhere special.

  27. Life has a way of of interfering with what we really want to do - I would not worry about your counter - those who care will check you blog - those who were only interested in looking at your art - will move on - I would not let that bother you. You have to do what you have to do - family first.

  28. No worries. We all know that life comes first. I know I got so many things that have gotten in the way of my scrapping/stamping stuff. I will be here when you are able to post.

  29. Still reading and subscribed, check out every posting. So glad to know all is ok and that a busy life is your hinderence. We all have lags and lulls in our lives, it is a cycle that will pass. Until then, will wait.

    Blessings,

    Teresa

  30. It's a shame that there are only 24 hours in a day so we can't squeeze in just a little bit more, right? I stop by every day to see what you're creating , so don't sweat the small stuff. {{hugs}}

  31. With a blog of my own -- and a few of the same challenges as you -- you KNOW I keep you in my prayers, sis. Thing is, when you share your heart the way you do on your blog, it's both wonderful and terrible -- terrible because you're putting yourself on display and wonderful because you know so many are praying for you. I read your blog more to keep up to date on how YOUR life...but to tell the truth, your cards are totally cool, too. I also cast my vote for doing more of those "scrap cahllenge" things. It's VERY ecoaware. Maybe you should send an invitation to Michelle (Obama) and see if she stamps and makes cards, too? ;-)

    Love Ya, sis,

  32. Hang in there. I am here for you. You are one of the first blogs that I followed. Do what you can.

I am a 4 time cancer survivor. I learned long ago that life is too precious to get too frustrated with it. Enjoy your family with all its blessings. You'll get it together.

  33. I check in every other day to see if you've found time for the blog (and yourself). So stop beating yourself up and relax. We all still care and anytime you post we'll be here to read.

  34. there's lots of us out here feeling the same things as you, so if anyone understands it's your readers! Stamp when you can....life will work itself out. We're here when you can, and we'll check in when you can't, no worries...praying over you and your family...

  36. I'm a relative newcomer to your blog, but I recognize talent when I see it and I'm not "unsubscribing" - you are "on my list" and I check your blog once a week and am thrilled when you are able to post. Don't do more than you can - I don't expect it and you shouldn't feel like you "have to" do this. I just simply appreciate what I do find here. {{{hugs}}}

  37. I still check in! I'm the same way & haven't stamped in ages (due to everything still being in boxes from our move @ Christmas!) I'm even embarrassed to say I've had to buy a couple cards lately! Hope you have a great summer!

  38. Oh hon - most of us have been where you're at now. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and eventually it'll all fall back into place. Your posts are worth waiting ages for - I'm not going anywhere and will be here encouraging you when you get back in the swing of things. Stay strong - you are loved!!
