A Photo Review

The one thing I have been able to do a tiny amount of lately is take some pictures with my camera. Here's a peek at a few of my shots...

This is a view of the inside of our new/used patio umbrella that we inherited from Doug's dad after his move into his new condo this past week. I've always loved it and I thought this was a fun shot to show it off.

This is what the boys were busy working on last weekend, much to their chagrin....

...Eldest Son wearing his baseball cap backwards, only thing is, he usually doesn't wear baseball caps! In fact, he hasn't worn many baseball caps since he stopped playing baseball when he was in 2nd grade. But I do think he's especially adorable in it. The other thing he was doing while he was supposed to be raking was texting on his cell phone, grrrr....this was a rare moment when it wasn't glued to his hand....
And last but not least, here's my beloved Copper, in heaven since it's nice enough to hang out on the deck again!

All photos were taken with my Nikon D40 and my 50mm/1.4 AFS lens. I love this lens!!!!

Maybe one day I'll post a card again. Oh, and by the way, Youngest Son got his cast off today! Yea! No more smelly cast!! Woo-hoo!

Hugs,

Amy

  2. really like the pics, Amy. We just got a Nikon D-40 and we really like it. However, we are not photographers and do not know what all of the different lenses are for. We have the 18-55mm that is standard and we also got the 55-200 which is great for up close. The lense you used for these pics, what is it mainly for?

    thanks for sharing!
