I thought I'd give you a glimps of one more card this week before I leave for work and my retreat today.
I absolutely adore this idea for a flowering crabapple tree. I saw the idea on SCS and could not resist making one for myself. I love crabapple trees! I've got one in my yard and it's beautiful, so I was excited when I saw this idea. That's one of the best parts of spring...a flowering crabapple tree, no question about it! The stamp set is from SU and it's called Branch Out.
The paper is from My Mind's Eye, their Penny Lane collection. What perfect spring paper! It matched the flowering crab perfectly! There is a tiny bit of Basic Grey paper right below the Penny Lane paper too.
Well, I hope you like looking at this card as much as I like looking at a flowering crabapple tree....have a great weekend, and I'll be back next week with some of the cards I'm hoping to get made this weekend at my crafty ladies retreat.
Hugs,
Amy
I do love this card. I love the idea of a crabapple tree. When living in Alaska our neighbor had one in the front yard (our were ajoined). It never failed that moose would come and eat off that tree for hours. It was so much fun looking out our window to see the moose with their babies and eat from that tree. Thanks for allowing me to enjoy that memory again.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your weekend retreat. It sounds like so much fun.
Beautiful card Amy, oh I am so jealous that you are going away on a craft retreat ;) One of these days I am going to go away on one......one of these days *sigh*

ReplyDeleteGood morning Amy
ReplyDeleteI have read your blogg for the past two weeks and I have to say that it was quite interesting. You come over as being very honest about your feelings and about the things that has happened to you and your family. I am glad that you have not given up when the going got tough although it could not have been easy. I love your cards, they are so simple and yet so easy. I love bold colours. I have only made 2 cards so far as finances is a bit tight at the moment and I have not got any equipment yet but I will get there. Hope you have a great day and God bless.
