I've got a fun announcement!!!!
The Stamper's Dream Dream Team (now that's a mouthful!) is holding a Dreamy Challenge the second Thursday of every month. And don't think it's just for the Dream Team....we want you to participate too!
All you have to do is make a card with glitter on it, and link it to the comments section of Michelle's blog, and if you upload it to Splitcoaststampers.com (we'd love to see it there too), just use keyword SDDC1. And, since Michelle is such a sweetie, she is offering up an awesome holiday goodies prize pack which she will be giving to a winner chosen by Random.org.
This week the Dream Team worked with a new product by Doodlebug that Michelle just started carrying in her online store! I'm sure you've seen how popular glitter is these days. It really is so fun to use! So the new Doodlebug product that we're featuring on our cards this week is called Stick With It. It's two sheets of double-sided adhesive shapes. The one we're using is called "Fancy That" and it's full of swirls and sentiments. All you do is peel off the shape (making sure to keep the top protective strip in place) and lay the shape where you would like to feature it on your card or project. As soon as you have your design laid out, peel off the protective strip and apply your Doodlebug Sugar Coating glitter, rubbing over it with your fingers to make sure it adheres well. Doodlebug has a fabulous line of Sugar Coating Glitter, with a variety of colors, that each of the Design Team members is using. Flock can also be used, and Michelle has some awesome colors of Fun Flock too!! I LOVED this product! It was sooooo fun to use, and the adhesive shapes are awesome!!! They peel off the sheet so nicely, and the top protective strip is really easy to peel off too. Sometimes it's so hard to peel those top layers off, but not so with Stick With It's from Doodlebug ! Super duper easy.
Can I share a little tip with you??? After you adhere the double sided adhesive shape to your project, before removing the protective tape, rub your embossing buddy over the paper. That will help to keep the excess glitter from sticking. After removing the tape and applying the glitter, flip the paper over and flick it with your finger a few times. That should also help to remove the glitter without it blowing up into your face!!!
Want to see what the rest of the Dream Team came up with using the new Doodlebug adhesive shapes???? I've got the links to each of their blogs right here, so click on them now and pay a visit....you're going to LOVE what they've done!
