My girlfriend Ann ordered a bunch of Halloween cards from me recently. I haven't made many Halloween cards over the years, so I needed to go to SCS to get some ideas. Thank heavens I found lots of great ideas in the SCS gallery! Who doesn't love mummy's and Frankensteins for Halloween?
This card was super duper easy. All you have to do is tear a bunch of cream cardstock into strips, distress them with some distress ink, and lay them over your base. I added eyeballs, which didn't photograph all that well in this picture, and to be silly, I added a tongue, because mummy's have tongues, right?
The sentiment was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and then torn and distressed on all four sides. I used my round tab punch on a piece of embossed Real Red cardstock and then attached it to the sentiment. I hung the sentiment from a piece of red gingham ribbon.
I love how it turned out and I hope Ann likes it too!
Hugs,
Amy
