Hi everybody! Well, the ban on pink and green could only last so long I guess. I broke down and decided today was the day you absolutely needed to see more of these colors together, and more of the fabulous K & Company paper (Berry Sweet Collection) I've been braggin' so much about lately!
Today's card came about the weekend I was away at the cabin because I had all these little scraps left over, and I COULD NOT....WOULD NOT consider throwing them away. Nope, I was going to salvage every last piece of it.
So I did. I just threw all of the pieces together and made a patchwork quilt out of them, sewed around each piece individually, and then added a heart from the SU! set called Always. The sentiment is from Verve Visual (Julee really DOES have all the best sayings, doesn't she???). Truly a simple card, using up those precious scraps that I just could not, in good conscious, part with.
I simply cannot get enough of this paper (Berry Collection by K & Company). It's a compilation of all my favorite colors in the whole wide world. It makes me happy, happy, happy. See folks, I don't need Mercedes, fancy clothes or humongous houses. All I need is color and I'm a happy, satisfied, energized girl.
The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love color the most.

Of all God's gifts to the sighted man, color is holiest, the most divine, the most solemn.

I so love that paper, and love that you're actually *using* it, Amy! I have only used little bits of it, and can't wait to play more.
