Lighthouse

Happy Sunday! Just wanted to leave this card for you to view today, I am headed off to church pretty quick here, so no time to write. We had a great day yesterday, very relaxing, even though I had chores! I adore days like that. Nothing much other than church today, so things are looking up for stamping--woo-hoo!!!!

This is one of the new sets I got from the new SU catalog. I love the simplicity of this stamp. The image was stamped with Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink in Dark Brown. The blue cardstock is SU's Sky Blue, which is new for me. The only to In Color cardstocks I've used are Purely Pomogranate and River Rock. The designer paper I used is from Webster's Pages.

For those of you who are interested, still no job for Doug. But Susan's husband Eric (Susan Liles from Susiestampalot) just got a job, so I'm hopeful Doug will be next:)! One can only hope and pray. My faith is much stronger this week. I made it through the rough week and still have hope that God is Good and He will prevail! I give thanks for all of you because you have been so supportive and have been faithful in your prayers for us. Thank you!

Hugs,
Amy

PS. A great big Happy Birthday is going out to my oldest friend Christine (well, she's not OLD, but we've been friends since we were wee little toddlers)....she's 45 today....yikes! That sounds old, but it's really not, since I'm going to be turning 45 in May!!! Hugs Chrissy!!!!

I love what you have done with this set!! I have tried to be careful what sets I buy cause I don't want to go for broke hehehe, although stamping is a worthy cause. This was one set I decided against but now, I am thinking......
