...and this one looks like he's soooooooo lonely without a Mrs. beside him. This is my new Hero Arts stamp I picked up recently from the LSS. Isn't he adorable? Of course, I was instantly drawn to this little guy, a) because I love bird stamps, and b) cuz the little guy look so forlorn in that cage all by lonesome. I just couldn't leave him sitting on the shelf all alone, could I????????? LOL. Into my basket he jumped.
The paper is fabulous, and it's from American Craft, but I forgot the name of it. The colors, Real Red, Cool Caribbean, Black and Tan are scrumptious! I want to go back and buy a bunch more of this stuff....
The layout is uber easy, nothing fancy on this one today folks. I won't bore you with the details. The sentiment is from Verve Visual and is called set called Heartfelt Phrases. I thought the sentiment was perfect to convey what his little guy must be feeling in there....
So, have you ever seen Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine? Specifically, I'm talking about the Feb 08 edition, and guess what? This magazine marks the very first time any of my work has been published on a national level! Woo-hoo! Actually, Webster's Pages is running an ad in this issue and my work is part of the ad. All of the projects shown are things I made. Would you like to them up close and personal? Thought you'd never ask....(tee-hee)...
Here is the frame I made....
And here is one of the two cards that appear in the ad.....both an inside and outside shot....
And I can't forget showing you the chocolate, mmmm-mmmmm! Thanks for letting me share this moment with you. Now I'm just waiting with bated breath to see my work in the Feb 08 issue of Cards!
It's time for me to skidaddle.....we're just hanging around the homefront today. We've got basketball tomorrow and Sunday. I'm planning on getting lots of cards made!
Hugs,
Amy
