Merry Christmas!!!

Is everyone having a wonderful Christmas morning? We sure are. Right now we are in clean-up mode, having to pick up the mess the boys made opening preasents and from all the meal preparation. This morning we opened presents at 8am, and had strata, choc. chip muffins, and pear slices for breakfast! Yummy.

I'm showered and am ready for the next round. 20 people for shredded pork sandwiches, au gratin potatoes and salads at 2pm. Oh, and can't forget all the yummy appetizers before dinner. And the Christmas cookies afterward.

I got Nestabilities for Christmas from my hubby (well, I ordered them myself from Ellen Hutson's store to help him out), a belgin waffle maker (it's beautiful!), and a paper shredder for my office. Yeah baby. How's that for a romantic present from hubby? I told him a few days ago that we should ask for this from his dad, but he wanted to get it for me himself. How romantic. He was just in here vacuuming my studio playing with the shredder in between swipes across the carpet. I said to him as he's playing with it...."this is why I said this should be for both of us, not just me", and he has the gall to say to me, "oh, I won't be playing with this as much as you...". Yeah right. LOL. Famous last words. He's Mr. Gadget America. He's never met a gadget he didn't like!

To not bash him too much, in his defense, he also got me an Archivers gift card, some fun ribbon, and some of those fun new Dew Drops. It was a slim Christmas, but a fun one, so that's all that matters!!

Well, I've got to run. Things to get done before everyone gets here! Hugs to all my favorite blogging friends!

Hugs,
Amy

  5. Merry Christmas! (What's left of it....) Can you believe I did not get one scrapbooking or cardmaking item? GASP! I guess everyone figures that I have everything! (I probably could open my own store with all the stuff I have....)
