That was fast!

{Caardvarks} sure is whipping out the challenges! The eyelet challenge is history, now it's time for another fun one, this time they want you to play with diecuts!

Outside of my Cuttlebug, I do not have a single solitary die cut hanging around my stamp room! Can you believe it? I have tons of chipboard, but no die cuts! So, my Cuttlebug diecuts got put to good use on these two cards I threw together quickly....unfortunately, I left town forgetting that I had to make some diecut cards to upload into the {Caardvarks} gallery! Me very bad!!!! Naughty, naughty, naughty! So that's why I had to throw them together quickly last night! I feel so bad I missed the deadline. I told Jen at {Caardvarks} I'd understand if she fired me! Not like me to be so absent minded. I think I was just so ready to get out of town that I completely spaced the deadline......

So, here are my little quickies. I didn't stamp on either one! Sometimes I love that. Less mess! I stuck strictly to die cuts, which are all from Cuttlebug. I added a little ladybug button to the middle of the flower for fun! The leaves were hand cut by me, no diecut for those.
The second card I made is also using Cuttlebug dies. I really like how this one turned out....the colors, the flowers, the sentiment! Not bad for a 5 minute card!
Our trip to Bemidji was so much fun. We really had a great time. We toured the campus, visited with old friends, watched a BSU hockey game, and swam in the hotel pool! What's not to love? Eric loved the campus, and he's sure he wants to go there now. We told him he needs to look at a few more campuses before he makes his decision! The campus hasn't changed at all! I even got to go in one of the dorm rooms I used to live in! Fun, fun, fun. I'm so glad we decided to go.
Well, I've got to run. We're having my FIL over today along with a friend of ours for some fried walleye! Yummy! I have lots of cards I need to get finished, so wish me luck!
Hugs,
Amy

  2. First off, good luck getting caught up. I always dread having to come home from a fun vacation and catch up all the "have to" stuff.

I sometimes prefer cards with less. These are great examples of die cut cards.

  3. MN is such a beautiful state. My husband grew up there. All his family still live there. His parents are in Hackensack and he has a sister in Fergus Falls and one in Farmington. We're hoping to go visit next summer!
