Color Outside the Lines

Wow, this has to qualify as one of the simplest cards I have ever made!

I bought this sentiment a few weeks ago and thought it would be FAB with a watercolor image that displayed painting outside of the lines! It was fun to push the envelope a little and create something that wasn't absolutely perfect. If you can believe it, I actually TRIED to paint outside the lines on this flower image ....I know, that's a stretch for some of us who are obsessed with coloring INSIDE the lines only. As little girls, were you determined to not have a spec of color crayon outside of the lines? I was, and still am, a woman who needs to stay within the lines given to me. But this sentiment gave me permission to NOT be perfect, which is liberating! You know what, it's ok to color outside the lines once in a while. Give yourself permission to put the need for perfection aside for the afternoon. Throw caution to the wind and create just for the sake of creating. There isn't anything illegal about coloring outside the lines. In fact, it's alot more fun!

Edited 12:52 Wed: Some people want to know where I got the sentiment stamp....I got it at my LSS recently. It is from the new Hero Arts line!
