You Mean the World To Me

Today was a really productive day. I got to stamp most of it, which was wonderful. I did some housecleaning here and there (ok, mostly "there"), but the majority of today was spent stamping! Yipee! I just finished this friendship card, which I'll be selling at the craft show next weekend. I really like how it turned out, and trust me, it was a cinch! The background paper is Basic Grey, I stamped the flower border from In Full Bloom at the bottom of the paper, and then I colored it in with my Prismas. Stamped the sentiment and it was done. Couldn't be simpler. I wanted to make some kid cards for the show today too, which I don't make very often. But I found this great paper by SEI called Such a Boy, so I went for it. I figured most boys like football, so I added a helment and colored that with my Prismas too. Gotta love those Prismas! Again, another simple card!

The third card I want to share with you is for a teenager/young girl. It's one of those cards a Mom can give to her daughter just to let her know how special she is. I need to make some of these up for a boy too! Boys like to be told they are special, trust me. My 15 year old last night shared that he thought we loved his younger brother more than we loved him!! I'm glad he told me how he was feeling, and I hope I did a good job reassuring him how much he WAS loved!!!

Well, if you can believe it, I think I'm ready to call it quits for the day. I'm tired, and I need to spend some time with the boys. They've gotten along so well I don't want to push my luck:)! They are precious kids, and they mean the world to me!

Happy Saturday!
